In the IELTS Test Report Sheet, you will find the overall scores of the group and the results that your students have achieved in each part of the test.

Individual Test Results

Scores for each of the four skills weigh equally. The total score of the group is calculated based on the average result for each part of the test.

The Overall Result of the Group

The total band scores are calculated to the nearest full or half range. If the average grade in the four skills – Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking – is completed at .25, it will be rounded up to the other half.

If it ends at .75, it will be rounded to the next point.

Expert User – You have full practical language command. The use of English is appropriate, accurate and fluent and you show a perfect understanding.

IELTS Band Score 8

Very good user – You have full command of the language, which only occasionally causes systemic errors and misuse. You might misunderstand little in unfamiliar situations in this case. You handle complex detailed disputes well.

IELTS Band Score 7

Good User – You have a practical command of the language, although in some cases there are inaccuracies, misuse and misunderstandings. In general, you learn complex language well and understand detailed facts.

IELTS Band Score 6

Competent User – In general, you have an effective command of the language, despite some inaccuracies, misuse and misunderstandings. You can use and understand very complex language, especially in familiar situations.

IELTS Band Score 5

Humble user – You know part of the language and in most cases lose the general meaning, although you are likely to make many mistakes. You need to be able to manage key communication in your field.

Limited User – Your main competence is limited to familiar situations. You often point out problems in comprehension and expression. You cannot use complex language.

Extremely Limited User – You will only understand and understand the general meaning in very familiar situations. Communication is often disrupted.
