Triund Trek falls under the state of Himachal Pradesh at the district of Kangra district. Triund is also a part of Dharamkot and is located towards its foothills. Triund Trek is at a height of 2,828m. Triund trek comes under one of the most popular treks to visit on weekends all the way from Delhi to Chandigarh. Apart from the month of January and February Triund Trek is always open for visitors around the globe. During the months of January and February Triund Trek is closed due to heavy rainfall which results in the destruction of some of the trekking routes. The best time to visit Triund Trek is from March to June as during this time period the weather is pleasant with clear skies resulting in clear views.
How to reach:-
To reach Triund Trek we have to firat get to the base camp of Dharamshala and there are two methods to reach this place, one by train and one by aeroplane. If you plan on going by aeroplane then you must go to Gaggal Airport from where Dharamshala is at a distance of 13km and if you plan to go by train then you must take a train ride from Pathankot Railway Station, from where Dharamshala is at a distance of 85 KM.

Trekking at Triund Trek is fun as it does not get very monotonous because it only takes one night and two days to finish trekking here. Here we also get to enjoy walking past the beautiful village of Bhagsu. From Triund Trek we can view Dhauladhar Ranges and Kangra Valley.

While travelling to Triund Trek we find many places to visit however you should make sure to visit places like Triund hill, Bhagsu Waterfall, Naddi View Point, Kalachakra Temple, Guna Devi Temple, Tsechokling Gompa, Bhagsunath Temple and Dal Lake.

The temperature at Triund Trek ranges from 11°c to 19°c however during winters it may go below 0°c.

The weather at Triund Trek is very pleasent and clear during the monsoon season but during winter it snows very heavily which might also block the trekking paths.
